Human beings are a nation’s greatest resource. Individual and collective progress can be achieved only if this resource is healthy, enlightened, and well adjusted to the environment. Progressive nations spend large amounts on research in health, education, social and biological sciences to maximize the human potential of their citizens. Some of the findings from this research can be applied to a developing country like Pakistan. However, most of the nation’s problems are rooted in its own culture, context and environment. The mission of Human Development Research Foundation (HDRF) is to help find indigenous solutions to these problems.
